Cost Control

CSD’s project control services provide a proactive, early intercession and consultation from experienced design and construction professionals. CSD’s involvement will identify, quantify and resolve issues that will have cost implications to the project. Our cost control services provide early budget confirmation and coordination and may be provided at various stages in the project, concept, design and construction. Our exceptional level of accuracy means we dramatically reduce the opportunity for surprises and claims, which can substantially impact the success of a project.

Scheduling

CSD’s scheduling services utilize state-of-the-art computer systems to develop a master project schedule as well as individual schedules for each construction package. Schedules will be developed to prioritize the implementation of the most critical activities and sequence construction for the most economical cost and least disruption to the site. At the outset, a design-phase schedule will be developed, which will lead to a construction schedule for construction, bids and contract negotiations. Working along side the contractor, CSD will confirm that the contractor has accurately developed the sequencing and phasing of all construction tasks. Our services will include monthly reviews and schedule updates to identity conflict at the earliest stage.

Contract Management

CSD’s team includes top contracting professionals, international and multilingual individuals knowledgeable and experienced in the multifaceted international contracting processes. Our contract management services provide a full scope of pre-ward and post-award contracting activities to maximize financial and operational performance. CSD will manage and review all contracts, change proposals, change directives and change orders for completeness and accuracy and recommend approval of legitimate changes to the project client. Additionally, all contract activities will be tracked and managed through our state-of-the-art computer system, which will also provide the project client with immediate up-to-date information on all activities. Our ultimate goal is to reduce risk exposure to the project client and through our years of experience in the international arena.
